Overview
Fire doors are a critical part of a building’s passive fire protection. When doors don’t close correctly, seals are missing, or hardware is unsuitable, it can compromise compartmentation and create avoidable risk.
Maximum Maintenance Ltd supports property teams with a compliance-first approach to fire doors: inspections and surveys, planned maintenance programmes, and remedial works — with clear reporting so you can prioritise actions and evidence what’s been done.
Maximum Maintenance Ltd holds BM TRADA Q-Mark Fire Door Maintenance (STD 058) certification (Cert 1424, expires 30/03/2028).
Compliance & standards
We carry out works with reference to applicable guidance and test evidence, including Approved Document B and BS 8214 where relevant, as well as manufacturer instructions for the specific doorset and hardware. Where required, we can also reference doorset test evidence (e.g. BS EN 1634-1 / BS 476 Pt 22) as part of scoping and documentation.
