Overview
Compartmentation is designed to slow the spread of fire and smoke by maintaining fire-resisting lines across walls, floors and service routes. Over time, defects can appear through building changes, penetrations, or incomplete details.
We carry out compartmentation surveys and deliver remedial works so property teams can identify breaches, prioritise remediation and maintain clear records.
Compliance & standards
Works are completed with reference to Approved Document B and relevant fire resistance guidance (including BS 476 Pt 20/22 where appropriate), alongside suitable tested systems for any remedial details.
