Overview
Unsealed service penetrations and poorly installed seals can compromise compartment lines and escape routes. Fire stopping needs to be completed using suitable, tested systems and recorded clearly.
We deliver fire stopping installation and protection across penetration seals and cavity barriers, with compliant solutions aligned to the specified system and site conditions.
Maximum Maintenance Ltd is BM TRADA Q-Mark certified for Fire Stopping Installation (STD 05b) (Cert 1424, expires 11/05/2026).
Compliance & standards
Works are delivered with reference to Approved Document B and relevant tested systems and fire resistance guidance (including BS 476 Pt 20/22 where appropriate). System selection and installation are aligned to manufacturer specifications and third‑party tested system documentation (e.g., UL listings where specified in the project documentation).
Scope and priorities are set with reference to FRA outputs and compartmentation reports, ensuring remedials align with the building’s identified risk profile.
